Hello everyone, hope all of you are keeping safe and healthy. I’ve got 7 healthy, easy to make and delicious snack recipes for all of you. With these super healthy snck recipes, you can now satisfy your hunger pangs in a jiffy. So here are the recipes for our healthy and delicious snacks
Oats and besan eggless cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup besan
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 70 grams desi ghee / soft coconut oil
- 4 tsp jaggery powder
- 1.5 tsp light olive oil
- Vanilla essence
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp warm milk
- Choco chips
Instructions
- In a bowl, add the qucik oats, besan, baking soda and baking powder
- Mix all these ingredients nicely
- Take another bowl and add the ghee, jaggery powder and olive oil
- Mix all these ingredients well
- Add vanilla essence and lemon juice in the second bowl and mix well
- Now add the warm milk in the bowl and mix ingredients of both the bowls
- Add some choco chips in the mixture
- Mix the ingredients well and make small cookie shaped portions
- Put these in the pre heated microwave on convection mode at 175 c
- Keep the cookies for 18 minutes inside the microwave
- After 18 minutes, take the cookies out
- Le them cool down completely and transfer them on a rack
Masala paneer tikka
Ingredients
- Some ginger
- 1/2 chopped onion and garlic
- 2 tbsp curd
- 250 grams homemade paneer
- Salt to taste
- Roasted cumin powder
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp amchur powder
- Turmeric powder
- Homemade spice mix
- Red chilli powder
- 1.5 tsp kasuri methi
Instructions
- In the mixer, add the ginger, onion and garlic
- Add 2 tbsp curd in the mixer
- In a bowl take 250 grams homemade paneer
- Add the mixture in the paneer
- Add salt to taste
- Add the cumin powder, oilve oil, amchur powder, turmeric powder and homemade spice mix
- Add the red chilli powder and kasuri methi
- Mix the ingredients gently
- Keep the mixture soaked paneer in the fridge for minimum 3 hours (you can also leave it overnight)
- Sprinkle some oil on a tawa
- Place the paneer on the tawa and reduce heat to the lowest
- Cook from both sides until the paneer is brown and crisp
Sattu energy bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup roasted chana dal
- 3 tbsp jaggery powder
- 50 grams dark chocolate
- 2.5 tsp desi ghee / coconut oil
Instructions
- Grind the roasted chana dal and keep it in a bowl
- In another bowl take the jaggery powder and add the dark chocolate in it
- Add 2.5 tsp desi ghee in this mixture
- Use double boiler method to melt the mixture (best to do this in a steel container)
- Add the wet ingredients to the roasted chana dal
- Mix well and transfer on a flat surface
- Grease the tray slightly if you’re not using butter paper
- Keep this mixture in the fridge for three hours
- After three hours, cut it into your favourite shape and store in fridge for upto 2 weeks
Peanut veg tikki
Ingredients
- 1 cup grated carrot and pumpkin
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp roasted peanuts
- 1.5 tbsp roasted chana dal
- Roasted cumin powder, salt and black pepper to taste
- Some kasuri methi
Instructions
- In a bowl, take the grated carrot and pumpkin
- Add the chia seeds in them
- Press and mix everything well
- Keep this aside for 20-30 minutes
- Grind the peanuts and chana dal
- Mix all the ingredients
- Add roasted cumin powder, salt and black pepper to taste
- Add some kasuri methi
- Fry these on some oil and enjoy the tikkis
Sprouts veggies salad
Ingredients
- Cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, lettuce
- Sprouts, loive and spring onions
- Rock salt to taste
- 1 tsp black pepper, chilli powder as per taste
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp homemade spice mix
- 1.5 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp mango mint chutney
Instructions
- In a bowl, add the chopped cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, sprouts, loives and spring onions
- Add rock salt to taste
- Add the balck pepper, chilli powder, cumin powder and homemade spice mix
- Add 1.5 tsp lemon juice and 2 tsp mango mint chutney
- Mix all the ingredients
- Enjoy as snack or for lunch
Vegan mango kulfi
Ingredients
- One cut mango
- 2-3 tbsp jaggery powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 2-3 tbsp coconut cream
Instructions
- Cut and freeze one mango overnight
- Grind the frozen mango
- Add the jaggery powder
- Add the peanut butter
- Add the coconut cream
- Freeze for minimum 8 hours to overnight
- Garnish with chopped almonds
Chana jor garam
Ingredients
- 1 cup soaked chana
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp corainder powder
- 1/2 tsp amchur powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- 1tsp mint powder
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 2-3 tbsp bhoondi and curry leaves
- 1 tso oil
Instructions
- Add the soaked chana to pressure cooker
- Add 2 cups of water
- Add 1/4 tsp of salt
- Cook for one whistle
- Separate the chana from water
- Use a heavy object / katori to flatten the chana
- Transfer these on a large plate
- Dry the chana for 12-24 hour or mocrowave it for 3-3-3 minutes at intervals
- Dry it for 12 hours
- Prepare the masala powder with all the ingredients and mix well
- Heat 1 tsp oil and add mustard seeds
- Add the dried chana and boondi
- Add masala as required
