1. Roasted Makhana and Peanuts
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup phool makhana
- Handful of peanuts
- 1 tsp desi ghee
- Pink salt
- Black pepper
- Dry mint leaves
Instructions
- Nicely heat a tava, add the makhana and peanuts on it
- Dry roast for 3-5 mins until crisp
- Reduce the heat to lowest to get crispy texture
- Sprinkle a tsp of desi ghee
- Add pink salt and black pepper to taste
- Add dry mint leaves
Your Roasted Makhana and Peanuts are now ready. This recipe serves 2 people
2. Peanut Butter, Chia and Cinammon Toast
Ingredients
- 2 slices of whole wheat bread
- 1-1.5 tsp 100% peanut butter
- 1 tsp jaggery powder or honey
- 1 tsp grounded chia seeds
- Little bit of ceylon cinnamon
Instructions
- Take 2 slices of whole wheat bread
- Add 1-1.5 tsp 100% peanut butter
- Add 1 tsp jaggery powder or honey
- Add 1 tsp grounded chia seeds
- Add little bit of ceylon cinnamon
- Cut the bread into eatable small pieces
Your Peanut Butter, Chia and Cinammon Toast is now ready. This recipe serves 1-2 people
3. Corn, Paneer and Tomato Mix
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh corn
- 30-40 grams paneer
- 1 tomato
- 1-2 tbsp water
- Pink salt
- Black pepper
- Roasted cumin powder
- Dried mint and oregano
Instructions
- Take a pan and heat it on low heat
- Add 1/2 cup fresh corn
- Close the lid and cook for 1-2 minutes on medium to low heat
- Add paneer
- Add tomato and pink salt to taste
- Add black pepper and cumin powder
- Add dried mint and oregano
Your Corn, Paneer and Tomato Mix is now ready. This recipe serves 2 people
4. Peanuts Chana Chikki bites
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup roasted chana
- 1/2 cup roasted peanut
- 1/2 cup jaggery
- 1 tbsp desi ghee
Instructions - Take a pan and keep it on low heat
- Add 1 tbsp desi ghee
- Add the jaggery in the ghee and melt it
- After melting, add the roasted chana and peanuts
- Take a plate and spoon and lightly grease it with ghee
- Make small pieces out of the mix while it is still warm
Your Peanuts Chana Chikki bites is now ready. This recipe serves 3-4 people
5. Sweet Potato and Peanut Butter Ladoos
Ingredients
- 1 large or 2 small steamed sweet potato
- 1 tsp 100% crunchy peanut butter
- 1 tsp jaggery powder
- 2 tsp coconut powder or grated coconut (dry or fresh)
- Some dark choco chips (optional)
Instructions
- Take a bowl and add 1 large or 2 small steamed potato
- Add 1tsp 100% crunchy peanut butter
- Add 1 tsp jaggery powder
- Add 2 tsp coconut powder or grated coconut
- Add some dark choco chips (optional)
Your Sweet Potato and Peanut Butter Ladoos are now ready. This recipes serves 3-4 people. Make sure you make this snack in small quantity and finish it in a day or two
6. Multigrain Namkeen Mixture
Ingredients
- Roasted chana dal
- Puffed amaranth
- Pressed rice
- Roasted buckwheat (kuttu atta)
- Pink salt to taste
- Amchur powder
- Roasted jeera powder
- Dried oregano and mint
- Black pepper and seasoning
- 1/2 tsp desi ghee
Instructions
- Take a small kadai, heat it on low flame and add 1/2 tsp desi ghee
- Add mustard seeds
- Add pink salt and amchur powder to taste
- Add roasted jeera powder and dried oregano and mint
- Add black pepper and seasoning
- Your namkeen masala is now ready (switch off heat)
- Add the roasted chana dal, puffed amaranth, pressed rice and roasted buck wheat
Your Multigrain Namkeen Mixture is now ready. This recipe serves 3-4 people
7. Murmura / Puffed Rice Namkeen
Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp desi ghee
- 1 cup murmura / puffed rice
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1 cup namkeen wala sabudana
- 1 cup phool makhana
- Salt, turmeric, amchur
- Khand and chat masala
Instructions
- Roast murmura in 1/2 tsp desi ghee
- Keep aside
- In 1 tsp heated ghee, add namkeen wala sabudana
- Roast 1 cup phuldana
- Take 1/2 tsp and heat it. Add curry leaves, salt, turmeric, amchur, khand and chat masala
- Add roasted peanuts, chana dal, dried coconut and almonds
- Mix all ingredients
Your Murmura / Puffed Rice Namkeen is now ready. This recipe will serve 4-5 people
