This high protein vegan Jamun Fruit Smoothie is a quick preparation and an Easy Breakfast idea. Jamun fruit pulp is blended with sattu and oats with Dates to prepare this recipe.
Black plums (or Jamun, Jambul, Indian blackberry) are very easily available in this season. These berries are power packed with many different nutrients that are good for our body. In fact, Black Plum has been extensively used in Ayurveda for treatment of Diabetes, digestive disorders, infections, skin problems and oral problems.
Ingredients:
- Jamun: 1 cup (deseeded)
- Plain/coconut water
- Sattu: 2tbsp
- Soaked quick oats: 2tbsp
- Peanut butter: 1tbsp
- Vegan pea protein: 1scoop (optional)
- Dates:3-4
- Ice cubes
- Home-made Granola: Hand full
Directions:
- In a blending jar add deseeded Jamun and some plain or coconut water and other all the ingredients.
- Add ice cubes and Blend everything well.
- Transfer the smoothie in to a glass jar or into a smoothie bowl.
- You can consume as it is or you can add handful of home-made Granola.
- And that’s it you delicious Protein rich Breakfast Smoothie is ready to enjoy.!!
