Healthy chocolate pudding:

Indulge guilt-free with this Healthy Low-Calorie Apple Chocolate Dates Pudding ! This delicious dessert is zero sugar, dairy-free, and perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings.

Ingredients:

For the Pudding:

  • 1 Large or 2 medium apples
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 3-4 dates (pitted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 70% dark chocolate (chopped or in small pieces)
  • Water as Required
  • Cinnamon, Ginger Powder (optional)

    For the Creamy Topping:
  • Few soaked raw walnuts
  • Few soaked raw cashews
  • 2-3 dates (pitted)
  • 2 Tbsp coconut cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Pudding:

1. Wash, peel, core, and chop Apples

2. Steam the Apples: 5-10 minutes

Cook the Chopped Apples & Dates in a pot with a little water until tender & Soft,

3. In a blender, combine the steamed apples, cocoa powder, dates, and vanilla extract.

4. Melt chocolate: In a microwave or on the stovetop, melt the dark chocolate.

5. Add the melted chocolate to the blender and blend everything to combine.

6. Use little plain water or coconut milk to adjust Consistency, if required

7. Transfer to serving bowls or jar and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes or more for a thicker consistency.

    For Creamy Topping:

    1. Drain and rinse the soaked walnuts and cashews.

    2. In a blender, combine nuts, dates, coconut cream and vanilla extract.

    3. Blend until smooth and creamy.

    4. Spoon the creamy topping over the chilled apple cocoa pudding.

    5. Garnish with some chopped roasted pistachio
