This is my secret recipe for good health specially in the rainy season. With this changing weather, this warm kadha may be a good option to build your body’s natural response by improving your immunity, metabolism and managing stress. It also helps protect you from a number of bacterial infections which are present during the rainy season. This immunity boosting kadha can be prepared with some common herbs and spices

Ingredients

  • Giloy stick
  • 1/2 tsp aswagandha powder
  • Cinnamon stick (ceylon)
  • Tulsi leaves
  • 2 cloves
  • 3/4 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp dry ginger
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Heat the water in a pan
  • Before adding the ingredients, make sure the water is slightly hot
  • Add all the ingredients
  • After 5-8 minutes of simmering, switch off the flame and cover the pan
  • Add 1/2 tsp honey (optional)
  • Consume once or twice in a week
  • Have it close to bedtime
  • If your immunity is low, have it thrice for 2 months
