Drinking milk before bedtime is one of the oldest rituals followed by Indians. It is only a cultural practice but also has a scientific reason behind it. Milk provides a healthy dose of tryptophan, melatonin, and calcium to our body which may help you fall asleep, control your after-dinner cravings, and soothes your mind and soul.
And as you all know that Haldi, also known as turmeric contains medicinal properties, fights infections, contains anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, adding it to the milk would increase the value of bedtime milk. Haldi is the most prominently used spice in Indian cuisine, which not only adds beautiful color to your recipe but also adds an earthy flavor to the foods.
This heavenly drink can be consumed by any age group, and is particularly a boon for people who find trouble while sleeping, and undergoes all-day cravings.
