Ingredients
- 1 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1-2 Tbsp dark chocolate
- 1-2 Soft Dates
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Five Spice mix (nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, clove, star anise, black pepper, (optional)
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
- 1-2 tsp soaked quick oats (secret ingredient)
Instructions
- Arrange all spices (nutmeg, ginger powder, paprika, cinnamon powder, clove & black pepper)
- Break chocolate with a knife (99% dark chocolate)
- Add some milk in a blender
- Pour rest small saucepan
- Combine dates, soaked oats, cocoa powder & pure vanilla extract in blender
- Blend the mixture until smooth
- Heat the milk over low to medium heat until warm but not boiling
- Add all spices & dark chocolate in milk, stir well to mix
- Transfer the blended mixture in the sauce pan.
- Stir well, switch off once start to boil
- Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.
