Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Ragi flour
- 2-3 Tbsp of Nutty Makhana Mix
- 2 cups Water
- 3/4 Cup Milk (Dairy / Plant )
- 1-2 tsp jaggery or Khand (adjust to taste)
- A pinch of cardamom powder
Directions:
- In a bowl mix the Ragi flour with a bit of water to make a smooth paste
- Add 2 cups water in a pan and heat it
- Add ragi paste in water while stirring continuously
- This helps to thicken the mixture and prevent clumping
- Cook for 6-7 minutes
- Add milk in pan with ragi mixture (add room temperature milk)
- Stir and cook for few minutes
- Add 2-3 Tbsp Makhana and nuts powder: this will thicken the texture
- Add jaggery or sugar and cardamom powder
- stirring well until everything is dissolved and the malt reaches a smooth, consistency
- Pour the ragi malt into a cup or bowl
- Garnish with cocoa powder or chopped nuts if desired, and serve warm
- Enjoy for breakfast or as snack.
