Five Healthy Ladoo Recipe

This recipe collection consists of five healthy homemade ladoo recipes which you can make on various festivals at home. All these recipes are easy and super quick to make. All these recipes are nutritionally rich due to high protein and minerals present in the ingredients.

1. Chana Dal Ladoo

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/3 cup roasted chana dal
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • Roasted almonds powder
  • Cardamon powder
  • 3 tsp desiccated coconut
  • Cinnamon powder
  • 6-7 tbsp desi ghee

Instructions

  • Grind the roasted chana dal to make powder (do not over grind)
  • In a steel pan, take 4 tbsp desi ghee
  • Add roasted chana dal powder to the pan
  • Keep the flames on low or medium, stir constantly
  • Keep stirring till the roasted chana dal powder turns light brown
  • If the mixture is turning dry, add 1-2 tbsp ghee gradually
  • Switch off the flames, add cardamom and cinnamon powder
  • Transfer the mixture in a plate
  • Spread the mixture and let it cool down slightly
  • Once cooled, add roasted almond powder and jaggery mixture
  • Mix well and start making ladoos

2. Milk Paneer Ladoos

Ingredients

  • 300 grams paneer
  • 1/2 cup jaggery powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp milk powder
  • 1 tbsp desi ghee
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut / almond powder

Instructions

  • Crush the paneer to simplify the process
  • Grind the paneer with some milk
  • In a pan, add 1/4 cup milk
  • Add 1 ½ tsp milk powder, stir well to avoid lumps
  • Add 1 tbsp desi ghee
  • Reduce the mixture on mow to medium heat, stir constantly
  • Add jaggery powder in the pan
  • Add 1/2 cup desiccated coconut / almond powder
  • Cook until ghee starts to separate and the mixture turns slightly more brown
  • Transfer the mixture on a flat surface
  • Make burfi of ladoos of this mixture
  • These will taste just like milk cake

3. Instant Chana Ladoo

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup roasted chana
  • 1/4 cup coconut powder
  • Flax seeds powder
  • 1/3 cup mixed seeds and nuts
  • 3-4 tbsp desi ghee

Instructions

  • Powder the roasted chana and put it in a glass bowl
  • Add 2 tbsp roasted flax seeds powder and coconut powder
  • Add 1/2 cup roasted almonds and mixed seeds
  • Grind the mixture
  • In a pan, add the desi ghee and heat it
  • Add the mixture in the ghee
  • Make ladoos with this mixture
  • Store it in a air tight container for upto 3-4 weeks on room temperature

4. Chia Seeds and Wheat Ladoo

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp desi ghee
  • 1/2 cup coconut powder
  • 1/2 cup jaggery powder
  • 1/3 cup black and white chia seeds
  • 1 cup dry roasted whole wheat flour (ragi, oats)

Instructions

  • Blend the jaggery powder and coconut powder
  • In a pan, take 4 tbsp desi ghee
  • Add the ingredients and stir till the time the ingredients are mixed properly
  • Store the ladoos at room temperature for upto 3-4 weeks
  • These ladoos are full of weight loss properties

5. Sweet Potato and Peanut Butter Ladoos

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp jaggery powder
  • 1-2 tsp milk
  • 2 tsp desiccated coconut
  • 1 sweet potato (steamed)
  • 1 tsp 100 % crunchy peanut butter
  • Some dark choco chips

Instructions

  • Add the ingredients in a bowl
  • Crush the sweet potato and mix all the ingredients properly
  • Gradually keep adding milk in the mixture
  • Adding milk will help the ingredients to bind properly
  • Avoid keeping these ladoos for more than 1-2 days
