Healthy Wraps From Left Over Rotis

There might be many instances where we are left with 1 or 2 extra chapattis. Even those chapattis can be used to prepare High protein lip-smacking meal. The recipe made from chapattis lends fibre and protein along with an array of other key nutrients, best part you need less than 10 minutes to prepare this meal. Call it left over roti wrap or sandwiches they are definitely going to become you new favourite way of enjoying leftover Roti’s from now on. You can have this for breakfast, lunch, Dinner or even for snack.

Ingredients :

  • 1-2 Leftover Roti
  • 60g Tofu/ Paneer
  • 20g Unprocessed Cheese / Mozzarella
  • 1/2 Cup Veggies
  • Salt to taste
  • Seasoning
  • 1/2 -1 tsp Desi Ghee

Directions:

  • In a Bowl combine Crumbled / Grated tofu, cheese and chopped veggies
  • Add salt to taste
  • Add seasoning of choice

Cumin powder
Chaat masala
Coriander powder
Garlic powder
Dried herbs
Black pepper powder
Chilli flakes

  • Combine everything nicely
  • Make a slit in the Roti from side to create a pocket
  • Fill the pocket with the prepared mixture
  • Do the same with rest of the rotis
  • Spread some ghee of a tava or pan
  • Place stuffed Roti on the tava
  • Press and cook on both sides on low heat until crisp
  • Remove from tava and cut into pieces
  • Serve hot with some sides and chutney of choice
  • Or you can prepare a healthy dip
