It is loaded with nutrients and very filling. It is a super healthy because is packed with protein, fibre & Healthy Fat from milk & seeds. If you are fasting during Navratri this can be your perfect easy to make instant breakfast meal.
Ingredients:
- Phool Makhana 3/4 Cup
- Cocoa Powder 1 Tbsp
- Mixed seeds 1 Tbsp
- Soft Dates 3
- Cow milk / Plant Milk 300ml
- Basil / Chia seeds 1.5 Tsp
- Banana ( frozen)
- Whey protein 1 scoop ( Optional)
- Ice or plan Water as required
Directions:
- In a large jar combine Makhana, cocoa powder, seeds, dates and whey protein in milk
- Mix well to make sure it’s nicely combined
- Soak basil seeds in water
- Cut & Peel banana in large pieces and keep in freezer
- Store Makhana mixture and basil seeds in fridge
NEXT MORNING
- Transfer Makhana mixture into a blending jar
- Add frozen banana and ice (for creamy texture)
- In a serving jar or cup add soaked basil bottom
- Transfer the smoothie on top
