Ingredients for Making Kashayam Tea Mix:
- Dry Coriander Seeds / Dhaniya 1 tbsp
- Fennel Seeds / Saunf 1 tbsp
- Ajwain / Carom seeds 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Turmeric / Haldi 1.5 tsp
- Cinnamon/ Dalchini 1 Small stick (Optional)
- Ginger Powder / sonth 1 tsp
- Ashwaganda 1.5 tsp (Optional)
- Shatavari 1.5 tsp (Optional)
- Desi Khand (optional)
Directions to make The Kashayam Tea Mix: - Dry roast the ingredients (except ginger powder and turmeric)
- Roast on low heat until they become aromatic and turn light brown
- Roast in cast iron pan
- Use Ceylon Cinnamon if possible
Let the mixture cool down - Add the roasted mixture to a grinder
- Add Turmeric & ginger power
- Add ashwaganda and shatavari powder (optional)
- Now make coarse powder in a grinder
- Transfer & store into an airtight container
- This mixture will last for 10-12 Days
- Don’t make a very large batch
