Home-made multigrain Granola / Muesli which is Gluten Free, High Protein and Falahari

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Puffed Amaranth
  • 1 Cup Phool Makhana
  • 1 Cup Roasted Buckwheat/ Kuttu
  • Nuts & Seeds of Choice
    (Almonds, cashew nuts, hazelnuts walnuts 2 Tbsp each
    Pumpkin seeds, Sunflower seeds, Raisins)
  • 1/2 Cup Desi Khand / Jaggery
  • 2 tsp Ghee
  • Some sliced or Desiccated Coconut (optional)
  • Cardamom or cinnamon powder (optional)

Directions:

  • In a large pan add Phool Makhana
  • Dry roast Makhana on low to medium heat
  • Once they are almost done, add all nuts to the pan
  • Add roasted Buckwheat, stir well
  • Add all seeds and dry roast until golden brown
  • Check if Makhana’s are fully roasted
  • Add desi ghee to the pan
  • Stir and mix everything well
  • Add puffed Amaranth & raisins into the pan
  • Stir and mix again
  • Add desi Khand and desiccated coconut
  • Well until everything is well combined and coated
  • Switch off the heat and let the mixture cool down completely
  • Your healthy high protein ready to eat breakfast or snack is ready
  • Transfer the granola in an air tight jar or container
  • You can store this mixture for upto 45 Days
  • Enjoy this mixture or granola as it is for snack
  • For have it with milk or yogurt for breakfast
  • You can make a savoury or salty version by adding Tadka and salt
  • You can have it as Namkeen
