Smoothies are the new trendsetters! Everyone around me is drinking and loving smoothies, and why should they not even love a smoothie?
They are indeed a glass of joy for us. I love to create variations for my smoothies. And today we have come up with a green summer smoothie with the combination of everyone’s favorite, MANGO!
“MANGO GREEN SUMMER SMOOTHIE” is a morning detox smoothie made up of spinach, mango, and oats. All of these are so filling and nutritious. You can consume this smoothie anytime without any hassle or much of a time.
Greens are always been suggested in our diet because they benefit us a lot. And why not consume these greens with an interesting style?
This smoothie has various health benefits:

INGREDIENTS
1. | Chopped Mango | ½ cup |
2. | Spinach | 1 cup |
3. | Instant Oats (soaked) | 2 tbsp. |
4. | Ceylon Cinnamon | Small pieces of stick |
5. | Black Pepper | 2-3 |
6. | Honey | 2 tsp. |
6. | Plain water/ Coconut Water | As Required |
Note: We have used steamed spinach to remove anti-nutrients and make it taste better.
DIRECTIONS
- In a pestle and mortar, grind cinnamon and black pepper.
- In a blender jar, add soaked instant oats, steamed spinach, grounded black pepper and cinnamon, chopped mangoes, and honey.
- Blend it well.
- Now add some water as required and blend again.
- Transfer the smoothie into a serving glass or jar.
- Top it up with some chopped mangoes, and you are good to go.
Note: You can also add any plant based milk to increase the richness and texture of the smoothie.

This smoothie includes mangoes, spinach, and oats.
Mangoes are loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Apart from this, they are a very rich source of Vitamin C and folate.
Spinach is highly rich in Vitamin A, C, and K1, folic acid, calcium, iron, and fiber as well.
Oats are packed with good amounts of fiber and antioxidants.
Honey is a very good source of antioxidants and shows antifungal and antibacterial properties.
