Amaranth is a super grain and it’s a simple way to add this protein packed grain to diet
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Puffed Amaranth or Rajgira
- 1/2 Cup Phool Makhana
- 1 Tbsp of mixed seeds
- 3-4 Dates
- 1 Tbsp peanut butter
- Dairy or plant milk 200ml
- Water or Milk 100 ml
- Separately for blending
- 1 Ripe Banana
- 1/2 Scoop 100%whey protein (It’s Completely optional, add if you’re doing hard work, lifting during fasting)
- Some vanilla or cinnamon or cardamom for flavour

Direction : - Take a jar or any other container
- Add 1/2 Cup Puffed Amaranth or Rajgira into the jar
- Add 1/2 cup of Phool Makhana
- No need to roast Makhana
- Add seeds & Dates into the Jar
- Add peanut butter for creamy texture
- Add milk and mix, until everything comes together nicely
- Cover the container and store in fridge overnight
- Next morning
I will just take 2 min to prepare breakfast now - Take 100ml milk or water ( water if you want to lite)
- Add the soaked mixture in the blender
- Adding Whey protein, it’s completely optional
- Whey Is made of milk hence it’s safe to add in smoothies during fast
( carefully check ingredients, avoid if it has salt or anything else which is not allowed in fast) - Cut and add banana
- Add milk or water on top
- Blend on high speed until smooth
- Transfer in a glass or mug or enjoy straight from the Jar
- Your filling super healthy protein Rich, high fibre smoothie is ready
- It’s super tasty and easy to digest
You can try it even if you’re not fasting.
