Ingredients :
- Sattu flour 2 Tbsp
- 350ml Milk
- 1 tsp Desi ghee
- Some Nuts & Seeds ( Walnuts, cashews)
- Raisins handful
- Green Cardamom 1
- 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds
- Saffron ( optional)
- Stevia / 2 tsp desi Khand, 3 dates/ 2-3 tsp jaggery
Directions :
- In a pan heat 1tsp desi ghee
- Add walnuts, cashews and pumpkin seeds
- Roast on medium to low heat until they turn golden brown
- Add raisins and roast for few seconds
- Remove nuts and dry fruits from pan
- Add one crushed cardamom and fennel seeds
- Add sattu flour in the pan
- Roast the flour lightly
- Add 350 ml room temperature milk to the pan
- Add milk gradually and keep stirring
- Using ladle keep breaking the lumps
- Add few strands of kesar to give nice golden colour
- You can use turmeric instead
- Keep stirring and cook for another 2-3 minutes
- Add roasted dry fruits and nuts back into the pan
- Add Natural sweetener of your choice / Stevia
- Mix and serve warm
